We provide care to both adult and geriatric patients. Types of care provided includes clinical assessment of diseases, teaching of disease management, post operative care, cancer care, orthopedic aftercare, wound care/wound vac therapy, cardiovascular management, diabetes management, infusion therapy and other services.
Patient age range from infancy to 18. Types of care provided includes management of genetic complications, infusion therapy, injuries/fractures, cancer care and respiratory conditions. Pediatric services demand a special kind of provider to deliver such care.
We provide IV antibiotics, hydration, TPN, IVIG (immunosuppressive) therapy, some types of chemotherapy, and specialty therapies. We also provide first dose administration for certain medications.
LONG TERM CARE
Patients needing some type of skilled intervention for an extended period of time. Care can be intermittent or continuous.

Use of assessment and treatment to develop, recover, or maintain the daily living and work skills of people with a physical, mental, or cognitive disorder.
Disabled care would include such conditions as stroke, falls with injury, or accidents with injury.
HOME HEALTH AIDE (CNA LICENSED)
VNS of Fredericksburg employs the services of CNA to provide all prescribed personal/custodial care in the patient setting. Such care may include baths, grooming, meal preparation, creating/maintaining safe environment and other activities of daily living.
